Our Story
Honor Collins is a Master’s qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience working within the animal industry, combining extensive hands-on experience with advanced academic training in veterinary rehabilitation and musculoskeletal health.

Honor began her education by completing a Level 3 Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Equine Management, where she developed a strong foundation in equine husbandry, management, and performance. She then progressed to undertake a four-year integrated Master’s degree (Level 7) in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Writtle University College, one of the leading academic programmes within the field.

This intensive postgraduate programme combined advanced theoretical study, scientific research, and supervised clinical placements, enabling Honor to develop the clinical reasoning and practical skills required to assess, treat, and rehabilitate a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in both horses and dogs. Through her training, she gained experience working with a variety of patients, from companion animals to performance and competition horses, developing a comprehensive understanding of biomechanics, movement analysis, and rehabilitation.

Honor’s approach to treatment is grounded in evidence-based practice, ensuring that each treatment plan is informed by current research and tailored to the individual needs of the animal. Her aim is to support optimal movement, long-term musculoskeletal health, and improved quality of life for every patient she works with.

Following graduation, Honor has continued to expand her clinical skillset through ongoing continuing professional development (CPD), ensuring her practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This includes additional training in specialist soft tissue techniques used to support musculoskeletal function and recovery.

In addition to her physiotherapy qualification, Honor is also a Level 3 qualified Small Animal Hydrotherapist. Whilst she does not offer hydrotherapy directly, this training provides her with a strong understanding of aquatic rehabilitation and enables her to work collaboratively with hydrotherapists and other veterinary paraprofessionals when developing comprehensive rehabilitation programmes.

Honor works closely with veterinary surgeons and other animal health professionals, ensuring that all treatments are delivered responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with current veterinary legislation.
